Unexpected bills.
The stomach flu.
Family drama.
Chronic illness.
House headaches.
Job change.
Job loss.
Job stagnancy.
Marital troubles.
Parenting hiccups.
Failed dreams.

On and on it goes.

So many things we experience cause stress, so many circumstances that arise bring worry and so many heartbreaking disruptions that surround us usher hopelessness.

Our physical eyes take in a lot of distraction and discouragement.

But then this 8-worded passage of scripture comes along to offer us a pair of shades and remind us that it’s all going to be okay.

Fix your eyes.
Not on what is seen.
But on what is unseen.
What is seen is temporary.
What is unseen is eternal.
