Grace.
It takes the edge off, doesn’t it?
When we’re being hard on ourselves and it feels like we can’t seem to get our act together. Grace shows up.
When we’ve made a terrible mistake that has left behind a trail of repercussions. Grace curls up right beside us.
When we feel like we’re failing at absolutely everything.
When we can’t shake the frustrations of everyday life.
When we feel like we’re getting it alllllllllllll wrong.
Grace.
And when we’re disappointed with our lack of ability to juggle it all. Grace lovingly whispers, “Oh sweet darling, you were never created for such things.”
Grace.
It comes along to give us hope.
Walks beside to be our guide.
Softens the blows of our daily falls.
And wipes away every single tear.
It takes the brunt of our self-inflicted bruises.
Meets us in middle of the mess.
Picks us up when we think we’re down for good.
And speaks words of love to remind us we are so very seen and known.
Grace.
We need not strive for it. It’s available always. Forever. Here. Now. For you. For me. Today.
Grace.
”May God give you more and more grace and peace as you grow in your knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord.” 2 Peter 1:2
