“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” –Ephesians 3:16-19

12 Prayers To Pray Over Your Life:

1. Love to lead your actions – Psalm 36:7

”How precious is your unfailing love, O God! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of your wings.”

2. Teachability to guide your heart – Proverbs 2:2-5

“Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding. Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding. Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasures. Then you will understand what it means to fear the Lord, and you will gain knowledge of God.”

3. Perspective to help you see the real world – Matthew 28:19-20

”Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

4. Humility to be your true desire – Luke 9:23

 Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross daily, and follow me.”

5. Wisdom to protect your soul – Colossians 3:16-17

“Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.”

6. Trust to direct your calling – Proverbs 3:5-6

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”

7. Discipline to compel your day-to-day – 2 Timothy 2:25

“Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people’s hearts, and they will learn the truth.”

8. Joy to carry your burdens – Proverbs 17:22

“A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.”

9. Faith to believe in a God of the impossible – Ephesians 3:20

”Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”

10. Rest to know He has everything under control – Matthew 11:28-30

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

11. Courage to pursue what others deem crazy – Romans 8:31

“What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?”

 12. Friendships to support you along the way – Proverbs 13:20

“Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble.”
