The Word To Say

What Does God Say?

By October 11, 2016 No Comments

A friend sent me a Facebook message last week that was perfectly timed. What she sent was nothing profound, and yet, it hit me in a profound way. Ever have that happen to you?

Truth is, we often complicate everything we know about faith, and God, and His love, and what trusting Him really looks like… when in reality, it’s really quite simple.

He loves us.
He is interceding for us.
He only wants what’s best for us.
Period.
End of story.

The complicated part is found in letting go and resting in Him – in His control, His timing, and His perfect plan for our lives.

So for today, on this beautiful Tuesday morning, regardless of the difficulties or struggles you may be facing, rest in these profound truths:

When you say, “I can’t figure it out.”

God says, “I will direct your steps.” Proverbs 3:5-6

When you say, “I’m too tired.”

God says, “I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28-30

When you say, “It’s impossible.”

God says, “All things are possible.” Luke 18:27

When you say, “I can’t go on.”

God says, “My grace is sufficient.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

When you say, “I feel all alone.”

God says, “Never will I leave you.” Hebrews 13:5

When you say, “Nobody loves me.”

God says, “I sent my only son just for you.” John 3:16

Profound, right?
Now go have an awesome day!
